I hear You call
For watchmen on the wall.
You ask me to pray
Each and every day.
Should I stop all I do
And only seek You?
No, you ask me to honor you through my vocation
And not take a permanent vacation.
While you wash these dishes
Tell me your wishes.
While you mop this floor
Tell me what you hope for.
While you walk the hall
Hear me as I call.
While you cook
Take another look
At all your many blessings.
Pray for those around the world
Suffering from starvation and malnutrition.
While you clean
Pray that My glory would be seen
Among those who have never heard my name.
Where I want you is the same
Just call out my name
Find me in the quiet moments of your day
Listen to what I want to say.
My promise is still true
I will be with you.
Even near your office chair
Yes I am everywhere.
